WE DON'T HAVE TO BE ORDINARY make your best mistakes because we don't have the time to be sorry baby be the life of the party. I'm telling you to take your shot it might be scary. | Sleepy eyes started to close as his head fell hard and hit the desk. Poor kid had been up all night studying or at least that is what he told his teacher when she asked why he was tired. In fact he had been out with a few friends in town half the night, but he obviously could not use that as a excuse. After having about 4 hours of sleep he was in no way prepared to sit through several classes and keep his eye open. Of course the teacher didn't believe his excuse because he was always making excuses as to why he was tired or why he didn't show up to class the previous day.
After that first class had ended he quickly sneaked up back to his dorm hoping to get a bit of shut eye and then maybe return to his classes later. As luck would have it though one of his teachers caught him red handed trying to skip class and set him up with a detention. James already had one to many detentions from skipping class and was informed that his parents would be contacted about his behavior. That was just what he needed, his mother calling him all upset trying to figure out what was going on in his hand. On the other hand his father wouldn't care and would probably only show interest when his mother scolded him for not showing enough interest.
So after all that he was forced back to attend the rest of his classes and would have to report to the library and spend his detention reshelving books. Surprisingly he spent a lot of time in the library but it wasn't because he liked to read, he spent time here because it was usually where he served his time in detention. This wasn't his first rodeo after all.
He had half a mind to start shelving books in random places, but he knew someone would figure it out and then he would just be sent back here to fix it all or given a harsher sentence. As he placed the last book on the shelf he cracked his knuckles and let out a sigh of a job well done. Taking a seat at a empty table he took a couple pieces of scrap paper turning them into airplanes and shooting them into the near by trashcan out of boredom. Knowing full well he would be being watched for the next couple of days and had to somewhat behave himself. So there was no going out tonight. |

It seemed like a typical day to Sage as she made her way through her classes. She hated being stuck in the villain classes but until she could change the public’s mind about children of villains like herself, she had no other choice. There was no way she wanted to go back and live with her mother on the island, she wanted nothing to be like her mother. She wasn’t fully listening today, for some reason she was feeling rather bored, like she could use some excitement to her day. Finding the inner strength she continued to listen to her professors as they taught various lessons, she really just wanted to get up and leave. She was looking for so much more than she was being given. That’s not to say that Sage doesn’t love the school, because this is one place where she believes she can call home. She never really felt at home on the island, growing up trying to be good while being the daughter of a villain wasn’t easy. Sage definitely had her scars from her time on the island. She was often bullied by the other children for not being as much of a troublemaker. Don’t get her wrong, there was still a thrill that came from being bad, it was like it was programed into her DNA to enjoy evilness. She just thought she would have more opportunities by being good. Tired of her boring day, Sage decided to go to the library. She knew more likely that her friend James would be there. She was very thankful for people like James, who weren’t bothered by her social status and instead focused on who she was as a person. The two had been friends since school started, and Sage was thankful for all their adventures they went on; regardless to the amount of trouble they got into for said adventure. Heading towards the library, Sage placed earbuds in her ears and began playing some indie music. She walked peacefully towards the library as it was a nice day out, hoping that James would actually be at the library today. Walking inside the library, Sage took a scan of the room and took in the environment. During her scan she came James putting away library books. Strolling over to her friend, she tried to locate where the librarian was, in hopes of not getting him into anymore trouble. Walking up on the left side of James, she decided to slightly lean against the bookshelf with her back so she could be facing him. “You know, for a guy with royal blood, you’re often getting into trouble” Sage joked with a smile, she was thankful that James wasn’t afraid of the rules, because she was raised of the opposite side of the rules. “What did you do this time?” Sage asked with a smile. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
