We will run and scream You will dance with me
Michael Hood was bored. Usually when he was bored like this he would go off and look for his friend to see if there was some sort of prank or something they could do but unfortunately, his friend was no where to be seen. Michael just shrugged it off and started walking towards the student union. there was always something that he could do, something that he could find to do. Maybe doing his homework would be the best idea since he couldn't find Geoff and later do whatever he wanted to do.
Michael walked inside the coffee shop that was inside the student union and he walked up to the counter. Michael ordered himself a large coffee, black and once he had received it, he sat down at a table by himself, the only table that was left open. He didn't mind the noise and being around other people. Sure, he was more of a loner but he tended to like being a loner with a crowd around him.
Michael reached into his backpack and he pulled out a text book. Most of his homework was just reading which wasn't so bad at all. He took a sip of his coffee before putting it back on the table. Michael leaned back in the chair he was sitting in and continued to read, though his mind started to wander and he really wasn't paying attention to what he was reading.

and we will be who we are with Michael Hood
The student union was busier than Lily had been expecting with how nice of a day it was. She figured that most of her classmates would want to be out in the fresh air enjoying the day, but she guessed air conditioning and coffee had it’s appeal as well. Lily had come here to escape the confines of her own dorm room. She had been studying nearly all day, and was craving a tea and change of scenery. You could only read about the laws of magic for so long before it became unbearable. Despite it only being the beginning of school the teachers weren’t pulling any punches. She didn’t remember the previous year being this demanding. Ordering herself a green tea, with two sugars. Lily looked around the room for a seat. As nice as the walk had been, she was hoping to be able to enjoy her drink indoors. It appeared as if the only free seat was at a table occupied by a young man. He looked familiar enough to her, but she couldn’t place where she knew him from.Making her way towards the table she hoped that he wouldn’t mind her interruption. Or even worse she hoped that he wasn’t there with someone. Lily hated awkward encounters. It was one of the reasons she barely approached someone first. “Hey.” She greeted as she finally reached the table. “I was wondering if that seat was free?” [googlefont="Lobster"][googlefont="Lato"]

Michael looked up from the text book and he looked around. He started to people watch, something his father had taught him how to do. He always told Michael that reading people is part of what makes a good thief, not that Michael would ever have to become one. Because his father married his mother, he became a lord, which made Michael a lord as well, being their kid. He wondered if his father missed being Robin Hood of Sherwood Forrest.
Michael was glancing around, seeing other students talking to each other, talking to friends, laughing and they seemed to be having a good time. He let out a small sigh and he took another drink from his coffee. He turned his attention back to the text book but it wasn't there for long. He looked up when he heard the voice of a girl asking if the seat across from his was free.
Michael’s blue eyes shot up from the book he was reading and he looked at the girl. She looked familiar to him but couldn't figure out why. She was blonde and had bright blue eyes. Again, there was something very familiar about her but he just couldn't place a finger on it. He wondered if he just had a class with her or something. That was probably it. He never paid attention in class much anyway. He was surprised he was even passing.
“uh, yeah, go ahead.” Michael replied to her with a small smile. He really didn't know if he should introduce himself or not seeing as he didn't know if she was like him, a loner who just needed somewhere to sit.

The sunlight streaming through the cafe highlighting the boy’s blonde hair. “ Thanks.” Lily said pulling the chair out and sitting down. The table they were sitting at wasn’t particularly large, only meant for two people. So she was carefully to avoid the items that he had spread out on the surface. Keeping her arms close to her body she took a sip of her tea. It was just cool enough to actually start drinking, so she didn’t have to worry about burning her tongue. Thankfully, she didn’t think that would be the best first impression. Noticing the books he had spread out where textbooks made Lily feel even more like an intruder. “ Sorry for disturbing." She just hoped that he wasn’t studying anything too important. She understood how stressful school could be, and even more so when you had tests and other assignments to keep up with. “ I’m Lily.” She greeted. Although the man looked more familiar with each passing minute she still couldn’t remember his name. He had an attractive enough face that she figured she would have remembered him. Perhaps they just knew each other in passing, or had a class together. Despite Lily’s friendliness she tended to not pay attention to much in class besides her own work. It had helped her get the grades that her parent’s expected from her. NOTES: Sorry. I promise it'll get better. WORDS: 224 [googlefont="Lobster"][googlefont="Lato"]

Michael smiled at her when she thanked him. He watched her sit down and then noticed that all of his school stuff was taking up most of the table. He didn't want to be rude so Michael started piling all of his stuff closer to him, so that she could have some room on the table as well. She had then apologized for disturbing him and Michael simply shook his head.
“You’re not disturbing me at all. I was just reading.” Michael replied to her with a small shrug. “What are you working on?” He then asked her, continuing the conversation. Michael really wasn't one to really go out of his way to talk to new people. iIt was just right outside of his comfort zone. This girl seemed nice enough though and wouldn't mind talking to her more.
The blond girl had introduced herself as Lily and Michael smiled back at her. “Michael.” He replied, introducing himself as well. “It’s nice to meet you, though you look familiar.” Michael said to her wondering if they had a class together or something.
Michael placed the text book down on the table and he picked up his coffee and drank more of it. The coffee was almost gone so he debated on whether or not he wanted more. He then looked over at her cup. “what are you drinking?” He then asked her curiously, wondering if he should get something else other than coffee. Michael wondered if he should lay off the caffeine.

and we will be who we are with Michael Hood
Lily was thankful when he moved his textbooks to allow her to a little more room. Allowing her arms to stretch out a little further. “ Thanks.” She told him. Manners were an important lesson she had learned during her childhood, and her parents would have her head if she were to throw that lesson out the window just because she was away from home. “ I was working on the Law of Magic readings.” She told him with a smile. “ But right now I’m attempting to take a break before my brain melts.” The work that Lily had been doing had been going fine in the beginning but the more she read the less she maintained. She knew the best way to recoup would be to move away from the dense text for a while and just allow herself to relax. “ What are you working on?” She asked looking at the textbook to see if anything look familiar. His name rang a bell. She was trying to remember if she had heard it in any of her classes. Knowing that she also looked familiar to him made her feel better. At least she wasn’t the only one having trouble figuring out where they knew each other from. “ What classes do you have this semester?” It was most likely that they knew each other from class, or maybe another school activity. Lily made sure to try and keep in touch with the on-goings of the school. “ Tea.” Lily answered as she wrapped her hands tighter around the disposable cup allowing its contents to warm her hands. Although it wasn’t particularly cold out yet, the fall weather was beginning to sneak in. Much to Lily’s excitement. Fall was her favourite time of year, the big sweaters and comfortable clothes called to her. “ You?” [googlefont="Lobster"][googlefont="Lato"]
